Get to know Tony Olmi

November, 2007 is my 29th anniversay as a Realtor. I have lived in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area since 1949. I graduated from St. Michael's High School in Santa Fe, served in the US Air Force, and graduated from the University of New Mexico. After College I worked for the US Small Business Administration in Washington, DC and Albuquerque as a Business Management Specialist. In recent years I also worked for The SBA as a Reserve Disaster Relief Loan Officer, serving in the flooded areas of the Southast, fires of San Diego County, and Typhoon stricken Northern Marianna Islands in the Pacific. I enjoy the business of business and real estate incorporates many business essentials and principles. It requires marketing, organization, and financial knowledge and skills. Everyone is a mini-business unto themselves and I can help manage that enterprise. Having councelled and worked with thousands of people I have really come to look forward to new relationships. I am old enough to have had many experiences and young enough to look forward to many many more!

 I enjoy meeting people's needs and desires and solving problems. The real estate profession is about more than jsut real estate. It is about fulfilling dreams and facilitating the process of achieving them. Real estate by definition is dirt, bricks and mortar. However, the asset, whether an investment or a residence, is the primary source of comfort, security, and wealth for most people.  Building and preserving wealth, while meeting immediate needs, is my primary motivation. Therefore, I look beyond the immidiate need and look to the future goals and objectives of my customers. For investors this often means a 1031 Exchange to defer and minimize tax consequences of a a sale of an investment property or properties.  My specialtiies are in the area of residential, land, and investment properties, including light commercial. I enjoy the role of confidant and personal Realtor. A member of YOUR team. My monthly Newsletter is entitled "Service For Life". The real estate market and profession is constantly changing. I am a perpetual student and try to be on the cutting edge of what is impotrant and changing. My mission statement is; "to serve the public, have a good time, and support my family". I am an Equity Markeing Specialist (EMS), a disignation bestowed by the National Council fo Exchangors. I am the founding president  and a current  board member of the New Mexico Council of Exchangors.
