Are you a closed grocery line right now?

Have you ever been at a grocery store waiting in a very long line ready to buy, but the register isn't open yet? That is how a lot of people feel about real estate right now, they are waiting in line to give their money to the cashier, but there isn't a cashier open.

Are you the cashier? Is your till empty? Is there a line of buyers and sellers waiting to fill your till with money? Look up from your desk and look at how many people are calling you and trying to give you business.

If you are sitting at your desk right now, fishing your paperwork before you open your register, then you could be losing business to the agent next to you that has his line open. He is filling his register with cash while you sit there getting ready to do business.

Remember you can't make money if your line isn't open, no matter how many people are in line to do business with you.

Very intersting post. I know when folks get beat down day after day it is not hard to overlook the buyer. This is why we need to look at clients like a golf game. While it may be 18 holes each one is very different

Thanks

Tony

This is an interesting analogy, but very true, we have to be open to business or it will pass us by!

I love the first paragraph. One thing I might add that we all know but don't always focus on ... being busy doesn't pay the bills. Doing busy work doesn't eaither. Originating and closing does. :)

Hi Todd... my register is the express lane, and I don't even care if clients have 10 items or less to use it... bring it all on! :)
