Spring is a short season...

By

Spring is measured by many as how long the new flowers bloom.

Many times most are done in 2 weeks.

Then many summer flowers do not show up until late summer.

To get away from the summer blues, plant more of a variety keeping in mind the

time frame that most will bloom.

Better yet plant those that bloom from spring until the frost comes.

The looks and aroma of flowers brightens even a dull day|!

Spring certainly brings a smile when you start seeing all those blooms though.

We've got honeysuckles plants that have just started to bloom. The breeze carries that wonderful aroma onto our patio & that unexpected smell is so wonderful while working.

My flowers start as early as late February or early March. I will have something blooming until the first of December or the first frost.

Morning William.

Spring is already here, summer even though it's still early has started.  Mid 80's and in some places 90º already.  Love it, just love it

Good tip, William.  I so hate to see the lilacs and tulips go...And peonies, as lovely as they are, seem to leave too early, also.  Lovely photo of the azalea...I wish I had more luck with them...  Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.
