We spotted this Pinot Noir at Carpinetria Wine a few months ago. We asked Jane if it really deserved the 95 point rating it was given by James Suckling. Yes, she said. And we bought the wine. We tried it yesterday and enjoyed it. It was well worth the price of $28.
"The nose is fresh and shows great depth with raspberry crumble, dried wild strawberries, orange peel and milk chocolate shavings. Medium- to full-bodied with lots of spicy, crunchy red fruit, tangy acidity, firm tannins and a long finish. So good now but better in 2019." James Suckling
Wishing you all a great weekend
