Throwing wide to the wayside: How to go deep with your marketing

When it comes to real estate farming or prospecting, the traditional approach is to go “wide” — to hit every house in a given neighborhood or ZIP code. How might this work on the mortgage side? Say boomers who want to downsize and maybe even want a Reverse Mortgage and noMonthly payments....

I believe the "shotgun" approach for real estate is becoming a thing of the past.

More agents are going to the niche=more focused approach.

I get various mail pieces and it is obvious that  they are using the shotgun approach. When I see that type of mail, my first impulse is: this does not apply to my. It is not personal and many times has nothing I can use.
