We can't get enough of the fresh colors of the greens popping up in our yard in Camas, Washington.
Spring air smells fresh and clean, and the lush greenery at our rural home in Camas matches the sensory expectations. It's such a delight to see the new growth and tender leaves on a variety of our shrubs and trees. The verdant landscape is short-lived, in a few months, drier weather will have tempered the cool greens.
Yesterday, in between the rain showers, we spent a few hours pulling weeds and pruning. While we're still a few months away from our vegetable bounty, it won't be long now. We think it's important to savor the moments and be mindful of the fleeting beauty in every single day.
