I was having a conversation with a teacher the other day. She works in a local Prince William County School system. She stated they that she and her husband were contemplating selling their home in late spring. When I asked why so late?
"She stated we want to time the sale of the home with school getting out."
That's when I asked."Are you open to coaching?" She stated she was. It was then I explain if you follow through with that plan, chances are you will miss the local Prince William County Virginia spring real estate market. You should have seen her face. She was so perplexed. You see they are scheduled to go on vacation during spring break. The thought of getting her home ready for market earlier than May or June just seemed to overwhelm her. So she asked, when should we list?
My advices was this. I would list no later than March 15th, 2016. Every year, here in Prince William County Virginia it is the same. Relocating buyers start arriving during spring break to house hunt.
