Productivity Tips to Get the Most Out of 2015!

Services for Real Estate Pros with RealSupport Inc.

The new year is here and, with another busy real estate season just around the corner, now is a great time to consider your productivity in years past and implement small changes to better improve your organization! Our Real Estate Marketing team is always seeking tips, tricks and “hacks” to share with our clients and readers. We look forward to helping real estate professionals get the most out of their 2015, and a seamless listing and marketing process is a great place to start. Our Real Estate Virtual Assistant team suggests the following for getting yourself organized and ready to take on a busy new season!

-Invest in an external phone charger. By “invest”, we mean that the average external phone charger runs anywhere from $20 - $50. Our Real Estate Marketing team knows how important it is to stay connected and keep the lines of communication open at all times so you can quickly respond to clients, issues and prospects. As a real estate professional constantly on the go, being away from the office and always on your phone can very rapidly drain your battery and sometimes leave you in the lurch. This inexpensive, small device can go quite a long way, keep you in touch and ensure no delay in responding to your business inquiries.

-Don’t be afraid to take a break. While it may feel as though you’re getting through everything that needs to be done, burning yourself out can actually be detrimental and have an opposite effect on your productivity. When you’re overtired, overworked and stressed, small errors and silly mistakes pop up much more frequently than if you’re well-rested and focused. Taking a couple of hours each day or shutting down and disconnecting during a particular evening each week can do wonders for clarity!

-Find and utilize Wi-Fi. Whether you opt for Wi-Fi-enabled flights when traveling or you know exactly what restaurants, cafes and shops in and around your typical work area offer the most reliable free internet service, utilizing Wi-Fi will help you stay connected no matter where you are. With a bit of planning, it can even help with your data costs. Knowing a few places that you can pop by to work out of, whether it’s a quiet coffee shop, casual restaurant or internet café, will help immensely when traveling to and from the office, home, appointments, clients’ properties and more!

The Wi-Fi thing still makes all the difference in a lot of cases, @pthakkar. I do see your point!

Some nice tips.  Yes, I have been choosing restaurants and coffee shops that have wifi (as well as outlets) for the last few years.  Thankfully, more and more are popping up.

And, so with you on the breaks.

Portable phone chargers are a must! I have several ways to make sure I stay connected. And it seems more and more places offer free WiFi nowadays. A true testament to our changing technological culture.

Great tips!  I picked up a extra, external battery for my phone last year, so happy I did.  I would say I tap into it about 4 days a week.

Some great tips!  I have a phone charger for my car.  This way I can charge it while driving or when at home.  I also tend to take breaks in the middle of the day.  It recharges me, otherwise I just burn out and, as you said, make mistakes.

I need to use wi-fi more.  It is one of my weak points in my business.  I need to go back using my ipad more often.

I'm definitely going to get an external phone charger this year.  Too often I run out of the office and my phone is dangerously close to dying.  Car chargers don't give it enough juice if the ride is short.

Using external phone chargers is a good one. For someone that's always using my phone, it's a huge help. My wife got me one for Christmas (among other presents), not very personal, maybe, but it's something that she knows I need and will bring around everywhere. She bought something I always forget to buy, which is very thoughtful.
