A Tag for Mortgage Relief with Short Sale

The Evolution of a Tag Line

Best Atlanta Short Sales

We Help Home Owners Get Relief from Their Unmanageable Mortgage

I wrote the 1st tag with Best Atlanta Short Sales’ very targeted consumer in mind. I wanted a tag that made one big promise that our team excelled in delivering. We list and sell residential short sale properties. I know that our consumer is underwater and overwhelmed, and thought this tag would be clear and reassuring, with one juicy benefit -- help with mortgage relief.

We Help Home Owners Get Relief from Their Unmanageable Mortgage

This is exactly what we do. Problem is, as a tag line it is also very long. I wanted something shorter but delivering the same juicy, mouth-watering promise of mortgage relief to underwater and distressed borrowers who need to get out from under mortgages they can no longer afford.  Thus, version 2 of the team tag evolved:

Helping You Get Relief from Your Unmanageable Mortgage

More personal, more immediate, but still not quite the sauce, huh?

This Activerain challenge is the perfect opportunity to update our tag line and make it better. And we're looking at the one sizzling benefit. Might it be more particularly “mortgage debt freedom” (which undoubtedly results in the more general “relief”)? In many cases the major benefits might also be the avoidance of default or foreclosure. But these terms have become common and also push the fear button. we’d rather not do that.Mortgage relief - Best Atlanta Short Sales

Is shorter necessarily better than longer?

Is freedom more engaging, enticing, and urgent than relief?

You can help me out by weighing in with a comment. This post is my entry into the Tag Line challenge, but it is not my finished entry. I’m still working on the new revision and welcome your expert observations and suggestions.

In your opinion, which of these two tags is more likely to move an underwater home seller to seek more information?:

  • We Help You Get True Mortgage Relief

  • Helping You Reach Mortgage Freedom

Your vote is requested and your insight most appreciated.... Even if you thinnk we should leave well enough alone and stick with what we've got. I will complete this post with the final revision based on your kind advice.

Thanks in advance for your input.

I think the tag line for Mortgage relief is best.  After all I believe that is what most consumers really want right now.

OK then, Bob, I trust your judgement and I like that one too, and so does Anna. I'm going to go with it on my online platforms before I change it on the print, and see what happens. Thanks to you all for your input.

Elva I understand the short sale business well as we did a lot of them but not anymore.   Your tagline kind of suggests to me that you  'modify' the loans. How about something like "Underwater on your mortgage and need relief? Call Elva she can help.  That's kind of long and needs tweaking too.....but that's what I think of with short sales and distressed home owners.

Richie, I like you tweak.  "Helping You..."  is better than "We Help You..."

Anna, I know what you mean, and I'm trying to get a shorter tag as opposed to another long one.

Thank you  both for the input.
