Missed on inspection. One, Two and Three. Not number Four though.
This pocket sale home was sitting pretty s a picture when I arrived at the home for the home inspection for the buyer.
Inspection One was when the local building inspector comes out and finds nothing and the C of O was issued.
Inspections Two and Three, this was when the home was inspected by a local home inspector. Not once but twice when the owners got transferred out of town for their jobs.
This home has been sold at least Three times.
Now we are in the Fourth sale. Take a look at what I found when the home inspection took place on this home.
Fourth Inspection findings.
This is simply amazing why this would not had been found by the "Other inspectors".
At first glance the home looks like a great home. And it is. But there are issues. Issues that needs to be addresses as soon as possible.
This warped soffit was a major clue there was an issue from above. The mast seems to have pulled to one side of the hole that by the way was never sealed.
I found the issue.
The wind was blowing at 40 plus miles an hour, but the inspection had to move forward wind or no wind. The roof inspection was where I found the issue with the cause for the warping soffit. Take a look at this.
It is beyond me that after three inspections on this home this issue was never found.
There was actually another inspection on this home. It was the electrical inspector. Why did he not see this issue either?
My guess is that the "Fifth Inspection was the charm in this case".
What is wrong with inspectors just doing the correct job each and every time they inspect? Is that too much to ask?
Have great day every One.
