Know when to speak and when to remain silent

 

A misplaced word or speaking when you should be listening can result in lost business . . . . or a damage a relationship.

 

Knowing when to speak and when to remain silent . . . . is a powerful commutation skill.

 

The most effective business professionals look at communication as a critical resource in the business environment. Their goals is to engage a person in a conversation and to keep it moving forward with open ended questions and in encouraging the person to continue to talk.

 

The business professional is gathering a great deal of information by asking questions and allowing the other person to speak . . . . while they engage in proactive listing.

 

Powerful negotiators . . . . understand and use this strategy in creating successful outcome to the negotiating process.

 

When you know when to speak and when to remain silent . . . . you will effective control the communication and be in control the flow of information.
