Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. It is my view that if we are positive, then positive things will happen. There are great opportunities in the market and it is time to stress the positive, and put a bow on it.

I have walked with chimpanzies and seen elephants up close but tomorrow the Gorillas. It will be very tough but I am hiring two guys tp help me. Some people will opt to be carried, literally on stretchers. I can not imagine the inclination but if I need to crawl I will go. I hope to have photos. ...
I have no words for just how difficult the trek to see the Gorillas was. I hired two Porters to help me but I was sure there was no way otherwise. The Gorilla families migrate daily and so in addition to the guides, guards, porters and the tracking trekkers there are so many chances you have with...
The beer is cold and I will deal with the stress with another. Life is tough here in Uganda. People are very hard working but have little. I am taken with how bad things are. In any event, I hope you enjoy the picture. Have a good night as I upload the photo.
I was in the car for 10 and a half hours. It was the worst road ever. I am tired and there was no safe in my room. I was moved but it is OK. I will share a favorite picture from yesterday. I hope you enjoy my picture and I have a great dinner.

For whatever reason, I am unable to post multiple pictures in any one post. S...
It was quite the day today. I got a new room with a real shower, although the water was still cold. I went on my first game drive here and it was long and not as compelling as others I have taken. In the afternoon we took a fabulous boat ride on the Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. The sigh...
Our guide had a tough day today. First he got a speeding ticket without a posted speed and then the front windshield cracked. With all that said we saw Murchison Falls today from the top and after a safari tomorrow morning will see it on a boat ride later on tomorrow. Every thing but the heat is ...
It is hard to be far from home and experience computer or email problems. I was good but here in Uganda my email has reverted to old emails, and I can't delete them or see 3, apparent permanent emails, or delete numerous others. I spent too much holiday time on this but I couldn't believe it happ...
I am old enough to remember the tyrant Edi Amin Dada who murdered his own citizens. Never in a million years would I have expected to be here ever. Nonetheless, it is in Uganda where the majority of the world's endangered Gorillas, some 800 in total, are and it here where I hope to see them. I am...
Despite the opressive weather and some hotel glitches I had a wonderful meal at a great Italian restaurant named Bice in the Hilton. It was served over three hours and that was but lunch. Six courses and at each many small plates. I didn't need dinner and I am off now for Entebbe. Later. This last...
