BETHESDA GETS ANOTHER RESTAURANT
True Food Kitchen is about to open in Bethesda MD.
The seasonally inspired health-driven restaurant, True Food Kitchen, is about to open in Bethesda, Maryland in the Solaire Building at 7100 Wisconsin Avenue. Co-founded by integrative medicine specialist Dr. Andrew Weil and eight-time James Beard Award nominee for Restaurateur of the Year Sam Fox, the restaurant’s menu will feature the principles of Dr. Weil’s anti-inflammatory food pyramid. The opening of True Food Kitchen Bethesda marks the brand’s second restaurant in the DC Metro region, with another location in Fairfax, Virginia at the Mosaic District.
Open daily for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, True Food Kitchen’s vibrant menu will rotate regularly to allow guests the opportunity to experience great-tasting menu items, including a variety of gluten-free, naturally organic, vegetarian, and vegan offerings prepared using the season’s ripest ingredients at the peak of freshness.
At True Food Kitchen, guests will find a variety of signature dishes like the Heirloom Tomato Pizza with grilled artichoke, roasted garlic, vegan almond ricotta and black truffles, Pan Roasted Chicken with corn, green garbanzo, Fresno chili, feta, cilantro and, a pumpkin seed pesto in addition to flavorful and healthful bowls, sandwiches and antioxidant-packed desserts.
The restaurant’s scratch bar will offer freshly pressed juice, local beer, wine, and a seasonal selection of handcrafted cocktails like the Watermelon Mojito, made with rum, watermelon, mint, pineapple and lime.
True Food Kitchen Bethesda occupies a 6,558 square-foot space, which includes indoor seating as well as outdoor patio seating that is pet friendly. The restaurant will feature hardwood floors made of reclaimed wood and dining chairs made of recycled soda bottles.
