It's that time of year again! High school varsity football season in Union County in the Waxhaw/Weddington/Marvin areas of metro Charlotte begins this Friday, August 18th! There's always a lot of excitement in the air each week as the local high schools suit up for the game.

The average sale price of Waxhaw area homes increased in July 2017 by 3.7% to just over $440,000 versus July 2016 (and also up versus the previous month of June 2017).

October 2015  showed a very respectable  performance  for home sales in the Waxhaw area of the Charlotte  metro area (the 28173 zip  code--encompassing Waxhaw, Weddington, and Marvin). The average sale price of Waxhaw area homes increased by 9.4% to just over $416,000 versus October 2014.
 
Median days on market for property listings dropped by 13 days to 36 days, a 26.5% improvement over the same period last year.
 
Price per square foot also increased by 6.4% to $117/square foot during October 2015 versus October 2014.

June 2015  showed a  continuing solid  performance  for home sales in the Waxhaw area of the Charlotte  metro area (28173 zip  code--encompassing Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin). The average sale price of Waxhaw area homes increased by 1.4% to just under $377,000 versus June 2014, while average days on market for property listings dropped by 20 days to 74 days, a 21.3% improvement over the same period last year. Price per square foot also increased by 1.8% to $112/square foot during June versus June 2014.
