6 Sleepy Coastal Cities for Southwest Florida Real Estate

 
In the past, we’ve looked at affordable communities in Southwest Florida, cities that are awesome for boaters, and plenty more. So this week, I thought we might talk about a different kind of lifestyle… the sleepy, coastal city.
 
You’ve probably definitely heard the term before, and it’s become synonymous with those cute (and desirable) places to live that are off the radar a bit. However, in many cases, they still offer some big amenities, especially for outdoor lovers. Well, today, we’re going to explore 6 of these spectacular places to live when you’re on the hunt for Southwest Florida real estate.
 
Anna Maria
Located at the very tip of SWFL, this tiny community packs a big punch. Surrounded by beaches that you can walk to from anywhere on the island, it also has quaint shops and some enjoyable places to eat. In addition, it’s very sleepy and off-the-beaten path.
 
Longboat Key
Our next stop is a little south from Anna Maria as you come down the coast. As one of the area’s barrier islands, Long Boat Key also has a strip of shops and restaurants. The community is small, but very friendly. Plus, the beaches are second to none.
